Olivia Hervy

 

Olivia is head of Midemlab startup accelerator program and also manages the content marketing activity for the entertainment events of Reed Midem, an organiser of B2B international markets, part of Reed Exhibitions, the world’s leading organiser of international exhibitions and conferences.

She launched Midemlab in 2008 when she served as Conference Manager for Midem, the annual international b2b event dedicated to the new music ecosystem. She led Midemlab to become the leading international music-related startup competition, which proved to be a great launchpad for companies such as SoundCloud, The Echonest (acquired by Spotify), Kickstarter, Next Big Sound (acquired by Pandora) or Dubsmash (in its original incarnation as Starlize).

Olivia has also strongly contributed to the launch and development of the content marketing activity at Reed Midem for the entertainment division (including TV & digital content shows MIPTV & MIPCOM).

In her early career, Olivia worked in arts management, taking care of the artistic production and PR relations of famous music festivals (Les TransMusicales, La Route Du Rockā€¦), and worked also for politics, managing arts events for the county of Ille-et-Vilaine (Brittany).
